Dorset Council is currently consulting on some tree works planned for Woodcote Drive, which could see a Silver Birch receive a much-needed trim and another replaced. This is a great opportunity for us locals to have our say on the green spaces right here on our doorstep.
T1-Silver Birch: Undertake a full crown reduction of no more than 1.2m from the tips inwards. Ensuring that no pruning wounds exceed 60mm in diameter and that all cuts are brought back to viable growth points. T2- Silver Birch: Fell to ground level and replace with x1 Nursery grown Silver Birch 1.5-2m
